I've seen this whole movie again this week and this movie is really amazing. It is a pleasure for me to watch movie like The Five Heartbeats. If a movie can manage me to stay hooked on the whole movie online, that's fucking impressive. I will remember some scenes of this movie till my funeral. The Five Heartbeats is Robert Townsend's epic classic masterpiece. This movie is different, thanks to director. Praise him for it. Althought The Five Heartbeats is very underrated movie.

The movie tells the story of the rise and fall of an African American vocal group, The Five Heartbeats (Robert Townsend, Michael Wright, Leon, Harry J. Lennix, Tico Wells) within the space of seven years.
