Most movie, even the greatest ones, evaporate like a fog when you return to the real world, leaving their memories behind, but the facts quickly wasted. This is not :). An extraordinary performance, a unique atmosphere and a remarkable plot that leaves reflection - that's what puts the film The Killing Fields on the highest shelf. The Killing Fields has filled me with difficult to explain energy and got me so immersed in it. You do not have to fall in love with a Drama to enjoy this movie. The film follows New York Times reporter Sydney Schanberg who is trapped in Cambodia during tyrant Pol Pot's bloody "Year Zero" cleansing campaign, which claimed the lives of two million "undesirable" civilians.
