The fact that Susannah O'Brien films are not like the national average of cinematography in America is no longer surprising. Most movie, even the greatest ones, evaporate like a fog when you return to the real world, leaving their memories behind, but the facts quickly wasted. This is not :). Rich dialogues, which are the essence of this film, arouse respect, especially in the context of today's production. The story can be interpreted in many ways, I think the The Doll is even too short.
